What this tool collects

Catchupbooks collects nothing. The tool runs entirely in your browser as client-side JavaScript. When you upload or paste a CSV file, every byte is processed on your own machine. No data is sent to a server, stored in a database, or logged anywhere.

There is no account system, no sign-in, and no user tracking. The tool does not set cookies, does not use analytics services, and does not load any external scripts beyond the web fonts needed to render the page.

What happens to your CSV data

Your CSV data is read by JavaScript running in your browser. It is held in memory only as long as the page is open. When you close the browser tab, the data is gone. There is no server to receive it, no database to store it, and no background process that retains it.

If you download the generated catch-up plan as a CSV, that file is created by your browser and saved to your chosen location. Catchupbooks has no access to where you save it and no ability to read it afterwards.

Third-party services

The page loads web fonts from Google Fonts (Fraunces, Source Serif 4, and IBM Plex Mono) to render the design as specified. No other external services are contacted. Google Fonts receives only the standard information any web font request transmits (your browser type and the page URL).

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers and served via Cloudflare's edge network. Cloudflare handles standard HTTP delivery and caching. No additional analytics, tracking, or advertising networks are used.

Cookies

Catchupbooks does not set any cookies. The dark/light theme preference is stored temporarily in the page and resets when you close the tab.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Because the tool stores no user data, there are no data-subject rights to exercise — there is nothing held to correct, export, or delete.
